The credit card provided will be used to confirm your reservation, and will not be charged until the day of arrival. Cancellation fees may apply if your booking is cancelled outside of the cancellation period specified at the time of booking.  For bookings that have been confirmed using Advanced Purchase and Pre-Paid Rates, please refer to the terms & conditions below relating to this rate type.
Rates quoted are based on the number of occupants and length of stay advised at the time of booking. Any alterations to these details may affect the nightly rate charged.
Children aged 12 years and under stay free when utilising existing bedding with a paying adult. Additional charges apply for the use of rollaway beds. Additional charges do not apply for the use of baby cots.
Online bookings require a valid credit card number to confirm your reservation. The card is held by the Hotel as security for your reservation and utilised for any applicable cancellation or non-arrival fees, unless otherwise specified on the rate at the time of booking. Unless an alternative valid card or method of payment is provided upon check-out, this card will be used for all accommodation and ancillary costs and for any loss of room items or damage to the room during the stay.
Advance Purchase and Pre-Paid Rate bookings are non-refundable and cannot be amended or cancelled after the reservation is confirmed.
A valid credit card will be requested from the occupant of the room for Pre – Authorisation when checking in. Payment via third party credit cards may be arranged by contacting the Hotel directly. Pre-authorisation of the credit card will be completed equalling the accommodation amount plus $100 for any incidental charges. For travellers without a credit card, photo ID (Driver Licence, Passport) will be requested and full cash payment of accommodation plus a bond for incidental charges ($200 per night) will be required at check-in. Bonds may vary and are at the discretion of Hotel management. The guest named on the reservation is required to complete the check-in process.
Please note that if you are settling your account with Visa card, UnionPay or Mastercard credit card a 1.2% credit card transaction fee will apply. For American Express, Diners Card or JCB, a 2.5% transaction fee will apply. You may choose to change the method of payment on check-out to cash or EFTPOS as these methods of payment do not attract this fee.
Kindly note that check-in is from 2:00pm and check-out is 11:00am. Should earlier arrival and later departure times be required please contact the Hotel directly.
Overnight and Valet Parking is available to in-house guests at a rate of $35.00 daily and $55 on peek Suncorp event nights. The hotel’s secure basement carpark is located via driveway access from Caxton Street, and provides lift access direct to the hotel’s reception/lobby level, restaurant and event facilities.
Once your reservation is confirmed your credit card will be used as a form of guarantee for the reservation. Any cancellation will need to be received by Gambaro Hotel before 2:00pm Queensland Standard Time 24 hours before arrival. Failure to do so may result in a penalty charge processed through to your credit card to the value equal to 1 night’s room rate.
By agreeing to these terms and conditions you acknowledge that the credit card provided will be used for payment of all accommodation and ancillary costs charged to the room after check-in, for any loss or damage to the room during the stay, and for any cancellation or non-arrival fees, unless an alternative arrangement with you or the named guest has been made with the Hotel.
Gambaro Hotel has a zero tolerance policy on parties being held in the hotel. A party being defined as:

  • Any situation where the number of guests within a room type exceeds the room types maximum advised upon making the reservation.
  • Any situation where the noise level from a hotel guest room disturbs other guests.
  • Any situation whereby excessive traffic to/from the hotel guest room is identified.
  • Any situation where it is deemed that intoxication is occurring.
  • Any situation where it is identified that excessive alcohol or noise is present.

In the event that any hotel room guest is identified as having a party, Gambaro Hotel Pty Ltd reserves the right to immediately request all occupants of the guest room up to, and including, the guest who has registered for the hotel room to vacate the premises.
In the event that an eviction does occur, the registered guest will be charged for that night’s accommodation and for any expense resulting from additional cleaning of the hotel guest room, replacement of any furniture/fixture/fitting breakage, as well as for any required repairs.

Gambaro Hotel Brisbane is a non-smoking hotel.  Charges apply should you smoke anywhere inside the hotel. All rooms and suites are strictly non-smoking, and any evidence of smoke will incur a $300 cleaning fee.
