What made you choose Gambaro Hotel as your reception venue?
We looked at several venues across Brisbane, but chose Gambaro’s because of their excellent reputation for delivering first class customer service and amazing food. We wanted a venue that would deliver a “wow” factor on our Wedding Day, and we absolutely knew that Gambaro’s could do this for us, and they did. The adjoining balcony was also a selling point for us with views over Caxton St and towards Paddington.
Was there a special little touch that made your day?
We wanted the night to be a true reflection of our story and personalities. As our wedding was on New Year’s Eve, we wanted everyone to have a night to remember. We decided to have the first letter of each of our names as a centrepiece for the dance floor. That became a conversation piece throughout the evening. Walking into the room and seeing our ideas come together was something we’ll never forget.
How did you find your experience with the Gambaro team?
From the moment we booked Josie’s Room we knew we had made the right decision and were going to have the wedding of our dreams. The team consistently inspired our confidence that the day would roll out exactly as we had planned and that it would be uniquely ours.
Did you have a theme that reflected the style of the reception room?
We wanted our styling to be minimalist with a modern twist, including pops of bright colours throughout. White was used as a backdrop with the bright flowers on each of the tables used to make a statement.
How would you describe the bridal suite accommodation?
The JG Suite in Gambaro Hotel was absolutely breathtaking. The bridesmaids and I stayed in the JG Suite and it’s connecting room the night before the wedding, and it was the perfect setting. We were so impressed by the service, modern styling and comfort of the room. Nathanuel and I spent our wedding night there, and I couldn’t think of a better place to spend our first night as husband and wife.
Would you recommend Gambaro Hotel to other brides?
I can’t recommend Gambaro Hotel and Gambaro Seafood Restaurant highly enough. It was the perfect setting to build memories of our special day in an elegant and glamourous atmosphere, that will be remembered by our guests and of course, us. Gambaro’s high standards and dedication ensured they consistently exceeded our expectations. We will forever be grateful for the outstanding efforts they made to make our wedding truly memorable.
